This morning’s meditation I connected to God. Every morning I sit quietly in a beautiful space in my garden and connect. (The term God works for me, even though I don’t follow any religion, but it can also be exchanged with life, the universe and inner wisdom.)
I felt the waves of rapturous light filling me. All doubt, fear & darkness was filled with ecstatic light and I just allowed this to flow.
Later I thought about my past and how much hurt and pain I felt and caused. The dark artworks I created to work through what I was feeling. The dark thoughts that would flash in my head uninvited, causing me so much distress. I was told this too was God. We are all a ‘piece’ of God, but we are also a ‘peace’ of God.
This peace of God is and always will be in our hearts- patiently watching waiting, guiding us back home. The experiences that cause us so much pain and shame are all designed to lead us back home. To remember who we really are. All the artworks and anguish I have created have asked the question – who am I and now I know the answer.
“I have faith in humanity” I said in my thoughts. This is the first time I could say this with any conviction and then felt waves of love flowing in my body as I experienced this faith.
I am the radiant, rapturous light. It is who we all are. Feel it and let the light expand beyond the body and become so large that all the cells in the human body are shining with this light, leaving no trace of doubt.
As humanity evolves, each new generation allows for more of God’s light to be remembered. This is why earlier generations continue to benefit and can also find healing. Why are so many of my generation (X) focusing on healing trauma right now? It is because of the beautiful new light entering the earth with each new birth. It is also because of the work so many are doing to let their light shine that more can enter the earth.
As we are all connected, all work is for all to benefit.
Darkness doesn’t need to be conquered or even cleared. There is nothing to protect ourselves from. What we need to do is remember who we are as the light and shine.
